Scientifically:
They focus on single molecules; I focus on single words (and sentences and paragraphs…). I help bring the group’s scientific ideas to life with language that is clear, vivid and precise.
Background:
BSc in mathematics, minor in philosophy (McGill, 2004)
PhD in cell physiology and biophysics (McGill, 2013)
Before coming to Oxford, I worked as a journalist, and a researcher in science and innovation policy. I now work with a few groups in the Department of Chemistry.
