Scientifically: Using new concepts in adaptive control of light and computation to go beyond the current limits of mass photometry.

Background: My background is in optics as I did my masters and PhD with Rainer Heintzmann at the Leibniz Insitute for Photonic Technology in Jena, Germany. I worked on novel concepts to improve the signal-to-noise ratio in incoherent imaging, such as fluorescence microscopy and submillimeter wave detection.

Gastronomically: PK's garden parties!
